Ashbury appears to be a brand marketed in Europe, particularly the UK. (My guess is that "Ashbury" as a brand name sounds British.) From photos of Ashbury instruments, they appear to be very similar to Oscar Schmidt/Samick-Greg Bennett ukes made in Indonesia, and sold in the U.S. The Ashbury AU-60- might be equivalent to the Samick UK-60, or the Oscar Schmidt OU-2.

I own the Samick UK-60, and I use Aquila Nylgut strings. I use it as a travel and practice instrument, and I've taken it all over the country on business trips, and to music jams. Many folks here dislike Samick and Oscar Schmidt ukes, but I think they serve a niche for affordable instruments.
