I am interested in picking up an Ashbury AU-60 Concert Ukulele.  Are there any US distributors where I can inquire about one?  Also, does anyone here actually have one or have a feeling about them, either good or bad.

Ashbury appears to be a brand marketed in Europe, particularly the UK.  (My guess is that "Ashbury" as a brand name sounds British.)  From photos of Ashbury instruments, they appear to be very similar to Oscar Schmidt/Samick-Greg Bennett ukes made in Indonesia, and sold in the U.S.   The Ashbury AU-60- might be equivalent to the Samick UK-60, or the Oscar Schmidt OU-2.

Here is an earlier forum  thread about them (scroll about half way down the page):

I own the Samick UK-60, and I use Aquila Nylgut strings.  I use it as a travel and practice instrument, and I've taken it all over the country on business trips, and to music jams.  Many folks here dislike Samick and Oscar Schmidt ukes, but I think they serve a niche for affordable instruments.

Maybe I should rethink the Asbury.  I am in no hurry for sure.

I am trying to find a good sound quality Baritone Uke. I have a Grimlin...it buzzes and wont hold a tune.
What do you suggest?
