Just noticed that the E string has developed a buzz on my Pono Tenor. Don't think I ever had it before. I thought that string buzz was a result of a poorly set up uke. How does a ukulele develop a buzz when there was not one before. I assume there must have been some physical change to my Pono, maybe from a humidity change? Anyway wondered what to look for if anyone knows?

From previous posts I plan on raising the string a little with tape or toothpick slipped under it. The buzz stops at the third fret.

Thanks,

It may be a warped neck.  I know that is not something you want to hear.  Check your intonation.  If that is good you will rule out the warped neck.
