aloha! i'm looking to expand my collection of uke-playing cartoon- like tattoos. i'm particularly interested in a uke-playing turtle, bear (may have found one of these), wolf (or fox), bluejay, with catfish's permission, i'm going to lift the uke-playing catfish off his website and include it in the band. i want them to be stand-alone images (no background). they each will be 2 inches tall.
btw, i got the idea for the turtle last night. my too-seldom music partner lenny kaye talked patti into having the bus stop and pick him up out here in the country. so he had time to visit and say aloha before heading out for a 5 week road tour. and he showed off his new (3 weeks) turtle playing an electric guitar tattoo. like me, he listened all those years when folks said "don't get a tattoo. you'll regret it when you get older." well, we're both older. btw, if you get a chance, listen to patti smith's new "trampin'" cd. no uke, but some good music for these times. funnily enough, the band pic inside the cd shows lenny sleeveless but pre-tat.
