I am a relative beginner, i have a Famous ukulele i bought in Japan and am ready to upgrade. anyone played a Kamake pineapple. What is the difference bt a pineapple vs a standard soprano uke as far as sound? any preference?

Don't have a Kamaka but have played the pinapple in a few stores here on Maui. It seems to have a little more of a mellow tone. It is unique looking, and of course everyone enjoys having a Kamaka in their collection. One of my ukes is a Flea with similar round back, I found the shape easy to get used to.
