Hey all, I just posted a new song to my page at http://ezfolk.com/audio/bands/421/music.php. It's called "waiting for the bus that never comes" or something. I was playing around with this song while the day rolled by and my bus to work continued to be late. I thought it was kinda fun, so let me know what you think!

Now if you're already waiting on the bus, one must ask the question: hasn't the bus already come? Deep.

Love the "hidden track".

Are there plans for more verses? Sounds like you're back to regular C tuning. Any more luck with writing or playing with that bass tuning?

I have a few more verses, but I've lost the notebook where I've written them down (I just moved and haven't unpacked everything yet).,  As soon as I've come up with more or found my notebook I'll record some more stuff.  As for the bass tuning, I decided it wasn't that great afterall.  Did you check out the Guitbass thing?  I was really digging that until I found most songs can't be played very easily without a longer fretboard... guess it's time to break out that old classical I've had sitting around.   Anyway, I might be inclined to try the bass tuning once again if I get some different strings.

heh, funny enough the bus did eventually.  It made me more than an hour late for work though.  Not really funny, but an aside:  I ended up getting fired from that job for attendance problems... no wonder with all the problems I had with the bus.

Hey, I just noticed that one of my songs stats (on my artist's page) shows that it gained a spotlight. Does that mean it was featured on the front page? I wish I would have seen that...

Update! I've done a couple of covers with my neighbor in his home studio! I posted them to my personal webspace because they're not public domain my any means. The first is "All Apologies" by Nirvana, and the second is "Take on Me" by A-ha. I posted about this in the other uke forum... I guess I'm too excited. Anyway, Enjoy!

Sorry to continually bump this thread, but I just re-recorded my "Waiting on a bus" song and posted it on my artist's page here: http://ezfolk.com/audio/bands/421/music.php
It should be second down on the page.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Please finish it. It's fun, but short.

So do you guys like it slower? Perhaps it's better now that it's not so off the cuff... I'll see if I can find the notebook that I wrote the rest of it in and record more. If not I'll just make up new verses.
