I'd like to see more Aldriene's teaching videos on the iamhawaii Website but have 2 problems.  The first is I seem to only get the Chinese version and can't read the pages.  Secondly, the videos speed up now and then, like their fast-forwarding all the time.  Does anyone else have either of these problems?

Look in the very upper left corner of the site for the green box which says "English"--otherwise the default language seems to be Japanese. I'm thinking that may be your problem...

Also, for more of Aldrine's videos (in addition to those at IAmHawaii.com), be sure and check out his website:

I think the fast forward parts are the parts where they actually fast forward through the video because Aldrine is just teaching the fingerings of common chords such as G & C chords that has already been covered in previous lessons.

Tonya,  thanks for pointing out the word English, indeed that did help, so I've bookmarked that site.  As for the fast-forwarding, it doesn't make a lot of sense, especially to beginners who don't know those chords or anyone who needs refreshing.  I've never seen other teaching videos that do that.  One of the videos fast forwarded so many times I gave up on it.  Maybe Adriene can answer on his underground site.  Anyway, thanks for the good info, I appreciate it.

Edit...GX9901, you're right, they DO fast-forward the video, and evidently you can just hit "play" to make it stop so you can see it if needed....

Edit again....good grief, the video also rewinds.  Could it be that there's an unseen control for FF and REW on the screen so we can do that ourselves if we want to either skip something or rewind and see it again?
