I tried using a korg chromatic tuner that I have for my guitar on my Uke but the sound after tuning was terrible. I forgot about the Hz setting which I'm assuming is quite different than that of a guitar. Does anyone have a clue what I'm supposed to set it at?

You shouldn't need to reset anything. The Hz setting is probably already set at A=440, which is where it should be. Just be sure that you are setting the right notes. Listen to the MIDI on the uke tuning page on ezFolk so you can hear what the correct notes should sound like... http://www.ezfolk.com/uke/Tuning/tuning.html Could be that maybe you're an octave off or something like that if you didn't have anything to go by to start with. I think that listening to it at the above link, then tuning it close to that and using your chromatic tuner should get you fixed up. Richard
