You're referring to the 1985 hit song by the Norwegian band, A-Ha; their version was in the key of A. The YouTube video of the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra is playing it in the key of C. From what I could figure out by ear, the opening intro has this chord progression, which is played twice:
C - F - G7 | C - Am
