Banjo Brad, no quibble from me! I think you've got it right. I had a good friend when I was in grad school that had a MA in music from Oberland college. He always said where the distinction became important was when it came time to teach others. Those that do it because it feels right make lousy teachers since they don't know why they do what they do.
