Hi, crafalou-

Welcome to ezFolk.

I am unsure as to exactly what you are asking for. Do you want to add other instruments or vocals to the "mix" track you posted? Or  are you looking for advise on doing the mixing (adding reverb, eq-ing, etc.)?

If you can give us a little more information about what you need or want to do, maybe somebody here can give you some guidance.

Brad

can't help you decide between those two. I have only played around with Cakewalk a little bit, and that was over 5 years ago. And it was an evaluation copy of a friend's purchased software. I have never seen or read anything about cubase.

I use the free software Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/  ). It needs to have a couple of other files downloaded from the site, but it has a nice user manual and tutorial that might help get you started.

And, since it is free, you can toss it if it doesn't work for you.

Brad

I understand - when I had a PC I was using n-Track Studio, but they don't have a version for the iMac, so I had to switch to Audacity.

N-Track is about $50 US, but does have a 30-day trial period. It was a very complete, very professional piece of software and ran very well on W98se.

To listen to some of my stuff and find out a bit about me, you can click on the ezFolk link in my signature - that will take you to my Artist's page here.

Good luck!

Brad
