Check this site out for information on chords etc.. i think the advanced section on open tunings is very useful.

If you are into open tunings on Guitar you may also want to check out this website too. It has a 87+ page PDF file you can download FREE!! It has more tunings then I have ever seen or tried myself. It even has chords included too! The homepage of this website also has a number of educational resources for guitar as well. Anyway here is the link:
