I recently acquired a Gibson Co-Classical, which is in good working order, but will probably need new strings soon. Being that I'm new to guitar in general, much less classical, I wondered what kind of strings I should get. I was thinking aquilas since that's what I use on my uke. So there it is. I'm looking for some advice. Thank you in advance!

I've used St Augustines for over 40 years, but lately have put a set of D'Addarios on my Goya. I will probably try some GHS next change, since I sort of like them on my banjo. Since guitar strings are inexpensive (at least compared to fiddle strings), don't be afraid to try different sets until you find the sound and feel you like - different guitars will mate better with some strings than others. Also, you may want to try different tensions, too. I was using high-tension St Augustines the last few years to cut down on my tendency to buzz the strings.
