I ordered a new guitar from Guitarcenter.com and it is supposed to be delivered today. I bought an Epiphone DR90S. I had a cheap guitar about 30 years ago and could play a few chords, but haven't played any since. Can't wait to see if I remember anything. I probably need all of your help.

I received my guitar yesterday and am well please with the guitar. I was disappointed with the tuner that came with it. It was not the tuner shown on their website. The website shows a Belcat BC 850 tuner with LCD meter. The tuner that came was an Epiphone with just LEDs. Doen't appear to be near as good a tuner.

Anyway, I got the guitar tuned and learned 3 chords last night, G, D, and C.  Just need to keep practicing so I can change the chords faster.

...and that's the way it begins.

Epiphone makes a good guitar (at least Paul thinks so).

Your post makes me remember back to those good 'ol days of learning guitra chords for the first time. So many exciting musical discoveries are in store. You played before, so I guess it's not exactly the same thing.

As for the tuner, I'm using those clip-on intelli-tuners anymore. They're so much more convenient.
