Hi Folks I'm New On This Website I Was Just Wondering Why The Videos Always Stop When I Try ToWatch Them Is It A Ez Problem As I Have Vista And All The Other Websites With Videos Are Working Fine Please Can You Help As It Would Be Great To Add Your Vids To My Favourites Thank You.

Hi Tony,

Sorry for the problem. There are definitely some issues with the script and the way videos are handled, and I'm not sure when all of the issues will be resolved.

One problem currently is that we're allowing people to upload a wider variety of videos than we did originally.

The optimum format for our system right now is WMV files at medium quality at a size of 320x240. That's how all of my videos are saved (I think -- although one or two might be different). Try a couple of those out and see if they work. They're here...

For a lot of the other formats the best bet is to download the videos onto your computer and play them that way instead of streaming them. For some people MPEG-1 files work but not MPEG-2. There is no support currently for MPEG-4 files. For MOV files you need Quicktime although I think those do pretty well.

I'm happy to download other formats and convert them to WMV 320x240 movies if the owner of the movie asks me to do it (I wouldn't do it without permission).

That's about all I know for now. We don't have the same video capabilities as sites like YouTube but hopefully we're not too far away from better video support.
