Hello. Please forgive a newb to the forum (and rudimentary harmonica player) asking a difficult question.

I'm putting together a play set in 1929. My character needs to play a kazoo and "bubbling bird whistle" while playing the piano and a standard harmonic holder would fit nicely. But...

I want to be historically accurate. A quick rip through Wikipedia and youTube found Frank Hutchison playing guitar and harmonica simultaneously in the 20s, so they existed.

But do any of you know what they looked like or if they were manufactured or home-made? (Maybe you've got one with a patent date on it?)

Many thanks

Doug in Gananoque
