Greetings, Our dear friend and fiddler is moving from the area so we are looking for a fiddler to replace her. Our page here is http://www.ezfolk.com/audio/bands/912/. We are looking for someone that is well versed in the Irish dance tunes as well as other airs and song accompaniment. A familiarity with Old Time music would be a big plus as would the ability and desire to step outside the pure drop box from time to time. We are located in the NYC metropolitan area and basically gig in central and northern New Jersey as well as Rockland and Orange counties New York. If i was near there i tottal would most of my fiddle experience is with irish. Not that i can get down the fiddle thing. But thats what i get for playing classial for 10 years.
