Artist and Member Benefits

Frequently Asked Questions

Fans

One of the best ways to network with other artists or to just show support for ezFolk artists you like is to become a fan. This is similar to the “friend” system on MySpace and other social networking sites.

To see your fans list, click on “Fans” on the control panel menu on the top right side.

If you have any fans they will be listed on the “Your Fans” page. Other fan options appear at the top of the page (see above). If fans are listed on your page you have the option of deleting the fan by hitting the delete button or contacting the fan through the ezFolk message system by clicking on their name.

Probably the very best way to get fans and network with other artists is to become the fans of other artists. Most of the time they will in turn become your fan as well. It should be noted that unlike MySpace, when you become a fan the other person doesn’t automatically become your fan. Each person must choose to become a fan on artist’s page.

You can also invite people to be your fan. You can enter an e-mail address or an artist or member name to send a message. If you’re inviting someone from outside ezFolk let them know you’d like them to show you some support by becoming a fan and that they will need to become a member, which is a simple process. You might want to include a link to the page that explains the benefits of being an ezFolk member. Here’s the link:

You can also send messages to all of your fans at once by clicking on “Send a Fan Message.” Please note that this can be annoying if it is overused so please use some discretion. You might want to save it for the really big news.

That’s about it. Now go out and become a fan of some other people and that will be a good way to get started. My daddy always said, “To have more friends, be a friend.” The same is true for fans.
