Keep in mind as you play this that there are two lines of tablature (upper and lower). The upper line contains only the melody of the song so that you’ll know where you are while playing it.
The guitar part on the MP3 was recorded in the key of F, capoing the 3rd fret and playing chords in the key of D (D, G, & A). I recorded it in the key of F because it suited my voice better (and
because I learned the song by playing along with the recording from the movie, “O Brother, Where Art Thou,” and it was also in F). Just thought I’d point that out in case you want
to play along with the MP3. The computer generated midi files above are still in the key of G.
