The MP3 available for this song is from my recording of “Star Spangled Flower,” which I wrote following the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The tune is
Wildwood Flower but the words are a combination of lyrics from the Star Spangled Banner and original words written by me and my wife. The MP3 is recorded with guitar and bluegrass banjo (no
clawhammer), but should still be helpful if you want to hear the tune of Wildwood Flower.
